Big Wonky Stars

Quilting fabric is beautiful and I sometimes have difficulty cutting it up into small pieces for quilt blocks. I am always happy to find a pattern that uses large blocks of fabric. “Big Wonky Stars” was such a pattern.

The added bonus, of course, is that the quilt top goes together quickly and it was soon ready to longarm. I chose the Jagged Little Fill quilting design/pantograph because it repeated the angle of the stars and offset the strong horizontal and vertical lines created by the square blocks.

If you’re looking for a fun and quick-to-make quilt that will showcase your beautiful fabric, this is the quilt for you.
