Daughter / Son Clothing “T-Shirt” Quilt

“T-shirt” quilts don’t always have to be made with t-shirts. Other types of clothing can work as well. This customer even asked me to use pillowcases, baby blankets, and scrubs.

She had collected items from when each of her children were babies and all through their years growing up. I was able to make 2 quilts for her - one for her daughter and one for her son.

It was so much fun when I went through the pieces with her as she told me about her children and the things they had loved and done. What a fun way to remember someone’s life growing up.
