Winnie the Pooh Quilt

When I started my longarm quilting business, I didn’t realize how much of a learning curve there would be. Things look easy from the outside; try it yourself and it’s a different story.

How hard can edge-to-edge longarming be? After all, it’s computer-controlled, right?

Before taking in customers, I practiced for several months in order to gain proficiency.

This quilt top made with various Winnie the Pooh fabrics was one of those longarming practice quilts.

The Honey design/pantograph is designed by Anne Bright (@Anne.Bright.designs / annebrightdesigns.com) and goes nicely with the fabrics and colors of the quilt.

From the pictures below, you can see quilt photography is another skill I needed to learn. Windy days are not conducive to quilt picture-taking.
