The nice thing about longarming is that I see the beautiful color combinations other people come up with for their quilts. This quilt is one of my favorites in that regard. If you search for the “Starling Quilt” online, you will see many other colorwaves. I continue to be amazed at how different a quilt pattern can look when you change the colors of the fabric. You are always creating something new when quilting.

The “Petal Pursuit” design/panto is a perfect match for this quilt. Its stylistic shapes match the pattern’s modern vibe and the curves give some movement to the straight lines of the piecing.
